A Comprehensive Review... backwards

So when people say that they are mad that they just washed their car and then it rains are they
a) mad that they should have waited and got the car wash for free or
b) they are mad because the car no longer looks blow-dried?

I honestly ponder this question.

Segunda Pregunta: Why do people on Colfax, east of Colorado Blvd., drive under the speed limit, like 20 mph in a 35?
a) worried about getting a ticket 'cause it's hood and there are lots of cops?
b) thug life
c) no-insurance
d) all the above
e) I should ask why I always feel the need to be speeding or doing just 7-9 over the speed limit?

Sunday: Above is Gina, working hard on Hand on My Steel (v5ish), a stellar problem of crimps up perfect sticky stone in Newland Creek outside of Canyon City. The rock here is an amazingly textured gneiss, the problem are semi-steep, cool slopers, positive top-outs. One stand out problem is The Nickness v10. Elkon and I tried this thing a few times but both failed... but were both on our third day on of hard bouldering and were thin on epidermis and glycogen but heavy on caffeine and pscyh for a new area. It was my first time to Newland.

Below is Ben Elkon sending a cool Jamie Emerson line in Newland, name?/v?. Looked about v6/7ish. Ben tried the sit but was denied. I polished off some nonsence to the left which, after breaking a key hold off, felt about v5ish.
Saturday afternoon: Satellite session with Ben and Merlin. I've been nursing a bit of a cold for the last week and a half and my energy has been crap, this Satellite session was no exception. Though I did get psyched on doing Richter Scale v10 in the upper area. Elkon sent, the others didn't... but did all the moves, may be a shade easier than v10, maybe v9. The stand is called Halley's Comet (v7) and is a great problem that is way harder than it looks.
Weeks ago: So I've been on a rope all of 5 or some times this year, need to get on a rope but getting on a rope is tough when you are busy with work and studying trying to finish up grad school, rope climbing is so stupid time consuming, bouldering is lovely and casual and you get mega-strong... for a short session of short problems. Below is Jen on a dope but techy 13b called Stuffed Wolf in Clear Creek, taking the wipper up high.
Graduate May 28th. PANCE exam (National PA-C boards) June 15th. Destination post grad? Time to buckle down for the big review and make sure I learned something over the last 3 years. I'll try to keep the blog rollin'. Big adventures to come this summer, post graduation.
